Sister Margaret Gardner, OSF, 103 years old, was truly a "master gardener" who lovingly nurtured a love for learning in her students and compassionately cared for people in need in her pastoral ministry. One of her favorite hobbies was nurturing the growth of flowers and vegetables.
This Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, we invite you to help us raise $24,000 to provide essential medical equipment for our retired Sisters. These remarkable women, who devoted their lives to lovingly serving others, now face health challenges such as Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, severe arthritis, and other conditions that make mobility difficult and painful.
Your gift will help us purchase specialized mobile patient lifts, wheelchair scales, and pressure-relieving mattresses to improve their mobility, comfort, and overall well-being. These items are more than just equipment, they are essential for our Sisters, ensuring their safety. With your generosity, we can provide our retired Sisters, such as Sister Margaret Gardner, OSF, with the comfort they deserve. And if we exceed our goal, additional funds will go toward other pressing healthcare services and equipment not covered by Medicaid or Medicare.
